ULU SKRANG – The XPDC 3.0 team has reviewed the Ulu Skrang, Lubok Antu Road Project Phase 2, with particular attention given to the Menggong Bridge and Penabun Bridge.
The visit was carried out to assess the progress and current status of the project while also reviewing its role in strengthening road connectivity and access for communities in the surrounding area.
The project review forms part of the ongoing field activities under XPDC 3.0, a two-day infrastructure assessment programme led by Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
The expedition began in Betong on 12 August 2026 before the team continued towards Ulu Skrang to inspect infrastructure and accessibility conditions at various locations.
During the latest assessment, the XPDC team looked at the Menggong Bridge and Penabun Bridge as components of the Ulu Skrang, Lubok Antu Road Project Phase 2.
The review was intended to provide an overview of the current progress of the project and its status as work continues.
The two bridges are being considered in the wider context of improving road connectivity in the area.
