ULU SKRANG – The XPDC 3.0 team has continued its field assessment in Ulu Skrang with a visit to Pinchoh Road to review the current condition of the route and assess the requirements for upcoming repair works.
The inspection forms part of the wider infrastructure assessment being carried out during the two-day XPDC 3.0 programme led by Sarawak Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
The team visited Pinchoh Road to obtain a clearer picture of its present condition and identify the work that may be required to improve the route.
The assessment is also connected to repair works that are expected to be carried out through a retender process.

The inspection of Pinchoh Road expands the assessment to the condition of the road itself and the repair requirements associated with the route.
The series of visits reflects the field-based approach of XPDC 3.0, which involves reviewing infrastructure conditions directly at various locations.
The expedition began in Betong on 12 August 2026, with Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas leading the team towards Ulu Skrang.
The programme is continuing through 13 August as part of the JKR Sarawak XPDC series.
The wider expedition is focused on reviewing infrastructure and accessibility conditions in Ulu Skrang, Ulu Kota and Ulu Entabai.
It also seeks to identify areas where improvements to basic facilities and connectivity may be required to support local communities.
