APM Sebauh Removes Beehive from Residential Garden

SEBAUH – The Sebauh District Operations Control Centre (PKOD Sebauh) responded to an emergency call on Saturday, 9 May 2026, involving a bee nest located in a residential area.

The incident, categorised as a Destroying Insect Nests (MSS) case, was reported by a member of the public who discovered the hive in a flower tree within the courtyard of their home at Taman Tadeum.

Concerned about the potential danger to residents, the complainant contacted the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM Sebauh) for immediate assistance.

APM Sebauh quickly deployed a team to the site to assess the situation. Officers arrived equipped with protective clothing and specialised tools to ensure the operation was carried out safely.

The hive was successfully destroyed, preventing any risk of aggressive behaviour from the bees and ensuring the safety of the household.

Authorities highlighted that bee nests in residential areas can pose significant hazards, particularly when located near places where people gather.
