BINTULU – The pair of Jimmy and Sofian, representing the MLNG B team from Bintulu, have been crowned champions of the Open Doubles Darts Competition (Gold Plated category).

The tournament was held at the Naim Street Mall within Bintulu Paragon and formed part of the festivities surrounding the Sarawak Premier Muay Thai Championship 2025.

Their victory earned the duo a cash prize of RM2,000. The runners-up position was secured by the War’s 15 Royal Dragon pair from Bintulu, Karim Jali and Zamree, who received RM1,000.

Third place was jointly awarded to teams D’501 from Mukah and KLM Zara from Bintulu, with each taking home RM400.

The event attracted significant participation, with 156 contestants forming 78 teams competing for honours. In the Silver Plated category, the top prize of RM300 was claimed by EZY X from Bintulu.

Additional awards were presented for Fastest Finish and Highest Check Out, the latter won by Team KM Smoky Earth for an impressive 130-point finish.
