Della Rocks Kuching: Emotional, Energetic, and Full of Heart!

The “Queen of Love Songs” made a dramatic entrance unlike any other — walking through the crowd while greeting fans — a move that instantly sent the audience into a frenzy of cheers and flashing lights. When she finally reached the stage, the roar of the crowd filled the air, setting the tone for a night of pure excitement and connection.

From the powerful rock version of “Wild Cat” to the emotional ballads “Palm of My Hand”, “Guessing”, and “Can or Cannot”, Della performed hit after hit, each song unlocking old memories and heartfelt emotions. The concert soon turned into a massive sing-along, as she encouraged fans to be her “main vocalists” for the night.

At one point, she stepped off the stage to duet with fans, transforming the venue into a romantic sea of waving glow sticks. The chemistry between Della and the audience was undeniable. Her easy humour, warm personality, and friendly chats made everyone feel like part of one big family.

Between songs, Della expressed her love for Kuching’s hospitality and food, especially Hainan coffee, calling it her “absolute favourite.” She said her song “Memory Café” always reminds her of Kuching’s warmth and aroma, symbolising the lasting bond between her and her fans.

The concert lasted two amazing hours, ending with the emotional hit “I Love Him”. Fans joined her in a thunderous chorus, and when she cheekily quoted the famous drama line, “Guang Xi can’t do it, he can’t donate!”, the audience instantly caught the reference and screamed back in unison — a perfect ending to a night of music, laughter, and nostalgia.

This marks Della’s first Kuching concert under Twig Events, making her the first female singer after Power Station to perform on that stage. With world-class lighting, visuals, and sound design, it was a night to remember — or as Della said with a smile, “Kuching fans are emotionally smart and super quick to respond. I hope I can come back very soon!”
