Supt Mohd Haide also issued a reminder to all road users, stressing the importance of extra vigilance while driving, particularly during night time and in uncertain weather conditions. He also advised motorists to ensure that their vehicles are well maintained before heading out on the road.

The tragedy has once again highlighted the dangers faced by pedestrians, especially in areas with limited street lighting and heavy traffic. Police have urged both drivers and pedestrians to be more cautious to prevent further loss of life.
