KUCHING – The Sarawak State Education Department (JPNS) has launched a targeted training initiative to ensure consistent communication regarding the Malaysia Education Plan (RPM) 2026–2035.
District Education Officers (PPD) from the Northern Zone gathered on Monday for a specialised spokesperson workshop held in conjunction with the MADANI Education Carnival.
This strategic session was organised under the directive of the Sarawak Director of Education to strengthen policy delivery mechanisms. The primary objective is to empower district officers as official information conduits at the local level.
By standardising their understanding, authorities aim to guarantee that details concerning the decade-long national education blueprint are conveyed accurately and uniformly to communities across the state.
The RPM 2026–2035 serves as the definitive roadmap for Malaysia’s educational development over the next ten years. It outlines a comprehensive direction for the system, prioritising the creation of an ecosystem that is quality-driven, inclusive, and sustainable.
Central to this plan is the aspiration to cultivate a generation capable of competing globally while remaining resilient in the face of future challenges.
During the workshop, participants were briefed on the core pillars of the new framework. Key focus areas include the TEKAD RPM 2026–2035 initiative, which sets specific targets for transformation.
