The event, known as the MAKSAK Cares Welfare Program, was orchestrated by the Sarawak Women’s MAKSAK Welfare Bureau with a clear mission to provide comfort to those undergoing medical treatment and to bolster the welfare infrastructure within the state’s health institutions.

A focal point of the afternoon was the distribution of gift packages to eighty children currently admitted to the Paediatric Ward. These souvenir bags were presented by Dayang Norjihan as a tangible expression of care and solidarity.
