Strengthening Leadership and Community Engagement

During the ceremony, Datuk Dr Penguang, who is also the Marudi State Assemblyman (ADUN), emphasized the importance of clear communication between elected representatives and the people. He highlighted that residents should be aware of the government’s efforts and progress in Marudi.

“This mandate is important so that the residents of the N76 Marudi DUN area know what their elected representatives are doing,” said Dr Penguang.

The presentation covered several key topics, including:
Overview of Marudi’s development
Infrastructure projects and improvements
Political and current issues
Concerns raised by netizens
The role of KMKK and Councillors in addressing public complaints

Encouraging Active Community Participation

Dr Penguang urged KMKK and Councillors to actively engage with the people by sharing updates on development projects and ensuring concerns from villages and longhouses are addressed promptly.

“It is crucial for KMKK to relay information about projects that have been completed, are in progress, and those planned for the future,” he stressed.

With this initiative, the Marudi constituency aims to enhance public awareness and community participation, ensuring that development plans align with the needs of the people. — UKAS EDITION
