PM Anwar Meets Malaysian Citizens Living in Ankara

ANKARA – Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim attended the MADANI Sentuhan Kasih Ceremony with the Malaysian diaspora in the Republic of Turkey following his arrival in Ankara.

The gathering provided a platform for the Prime Minister to outline the MADANI Government’s vision in steering Malaysia’s economy and reinforcing governance rooted in integrity, transparency, and the interests of the people.

During his address, Anwar Ibrahim highlighted that sustainable economic strength enables the government to deliver direct benefits to citizens, supported by agencies tasked with continuous assistance.

He stressed that prosperity must be channelled fairly and comprehensively to ensure inclusivity across society.

The Prime Minister also underscored the importance of preparing Malaysians to face rapid technological changes, including the rise of artificial intelligence (AI).

He noted that empowering citizens with the skills to adapt to such advancements would allow them to contribute meaningfully to national development and progress.

Anwar Ibrahim reaffirmed that the MADANI Government remains committed to building a competitive, inclusive, and humane future for Malaysia.

He emphasised that prosperity achieved must be shared equitably, reflecting the government’s dedication to long-term stability and fairness.

The ceremony in Ankara served as a significant moment for Malaysians abroad to engage directly with the Prime Minister and hear his vision for the country’s direction.

It also reinforced the government’s commitment to maintaining strong ties with the diaspora community, ensuring they remain connected to Malaysia’s growth and transformation.
