Sarawak JKR Launches Special Induction Course for 2026

KUCHING – The Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR) has officially commenced its Special Induction Course (KIK) Series 1/2026, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing human capital and strengthening the professionalism of its workforce.

The programme was inaugurated by Ybhg. Datu Adj. Prof. Ir. Ts. Gs. Br. PMr. Dr Cassidy anak Morris, Director of Public Works Sarawak, who highlighted the importance of integrity, professionalism, and excellence in public service.

His address underscored the department’s role as a cornerstone of Sarawak’s infrastructure development and its responsibility to deliver quality services to the people.

A total of 150 participants joined the course, which aims to provide new officers with an understanding of JKR’s organisational structure, functions, and core values.

In his speech, Dr Cassidy shared his personal career journey within JKR Sarawak, offering inspiration to the new officers.
