Form 1 Student Severely Injured in Bukit Beruntung Bullying Incident

Form 1 Student Severely Injured in Bukit Beruntung Bullying Incident

RAWANG: A Form One student was left seriously injured after being brutally attacked by two female students in a bullying incident at a secondary school in Bukit Beruntung last Tuesday.

The assault, believed to have started from a misunderstanding, left the 13-year-old victim weak and unable to move properly. Around 3.28pm, the school informed the victim’s mother that her daughter was found lying helpless at the school compound before being rushed to Hospital Selayang for further treatment.

Medical checks revealed that the victim sustained injuries all over her body, causing her difficulty in walking. According to her mother, the girl almost collapses each time she attempts to stand or move.

“This case clearly involves bullying. My daughter was stepped on and beaten until she could not move. How can there be no immediate action taken against those responsible?” the mother said in frustration.

A police report has since been lodged, and the family is now waiting for further action from the authorities against the two students involved.

The case has sparked public concern, with many urging schools and enforcement agencies to take bullying cases seriously. Netizens highlighted that such incidents, if left unchecked, could not only traumatize victims but also endanger their safety in the long term.

Bullying in schools has remained a recurring issue in Malaysia, often making headlines when severe injuries are involved. Parents and community leaders have once again called for stricter monitoring, counselling programmes, and firm disciplinary measures to curb such behaviour among students.

The victim is currently receiving medical care while her family continues to demand justice and accountability from both the school and the authorities.
