SEBAUH – The Sebauh District Civil Defence Force (APM Sebauh) responded to an emergency call on 22 April 2026 regarding a wasp nest located at Kampung Masjid.
The incident was reported by a member of the public who discovered the nest on a mango tree behind their home.
Concerned about the potential danger posed to residents, the complainant requested assistance from APM Sebauh to safely remove the nest.
Upon receiving the call, APM Sebauh deployed personnel to the site to carry out the operation. The team successfully destroyed the nest, ensuring the safety of the household and surrounding community.
Officials highlighted that wasp nests can pose serious risks, particularly when located near residential areas.
Stings from wasps may cause severe allergic reactions in some individuals, making swift intervention essential.
The Civil Defence Force continues to remind the public to report such cases promptly to avoid unnecessary harm.
