Kuching, 2nd November 2024 — St Paul’s Church in Petra Jaya, Kuching, held its Annual Fundraising Dinner yesterday, bringing together church members, community leaders, and supportive guests to contribute to a worthy cause. The event took place at the SJK Chung Hua No. 2 Hall in Tabuan Jaya Baru 1 and began at 6:30 pm, marking a memorable evening dedicated to fundraising for various church activities and projects.

The event opened with a prayer and blessing by Reverend Stephen Ngabong, the vicar of St Paul’s Church, who set a welcoming and reflective tone for the evening. His message highlighted the church’s commitment to serving the community and encouraged everyone to continue supporting its mission.

Professor Dr. Awi Anak Idi, the chairman of the organizing committee, expressed heartfelt appreciation to all attendees in his welcome speech. Diana John, a respected community leader from Tabuan Jaya, also joined the celebration, reinforcing local support for the church’s initiatives.

The evening was further enlivened by the Women’s Fellowship of St Paul’s Church, who performed a traditional dance that delighted attendees. The performance brought a joyous and festive spirit to the event, showcasing the vibrant talents within the church community.
