KUCHING: The Yang in-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, officially received a courtesy visit from the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg, in a meeting held at Astana Negeri Sarawak on Thursday.
The session, which lasted for nearly an hour, served as a Pre-Council meeting ahead of the Sarawak State Cabinet Meeting. During the meeting, the Premier presented several key matters to Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi in accordance with provisions under the Sarawak Constitution.
Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi also shared several views and advice for the Premier’s consideration in leading the state’s administration.
He expressed his gratitude for the cordial and constructive nature of the discussion and conveyed confidence that Sarawak, under the leadership of the Premier, would continue to advance with a united, peaceful, and harmonious people on the path toward a prosperous future.
