Sarawak to Establish Integrated Administration Centre in Siburan

SIBURAN – The Sarawak Government has announced plans to set up an Integrated Administration Centre (IAC) in Siburan, aiming to streamline public services and enhance efficiency in government operations.

The proposed centre will consolidate multiple agencies under one roof, enabling residents to manage official matters more conveniently.

The initiative was revealed by Deputy Minister of Transport (Air & Land) and Mambong Assemblyman, Datuk Dr. Jerip Susil, during the Annual Prayer Programme and Cultural Concert hosted by the Oh Ni Toh Temple Supporters Association on Monday.

“This facility shows that the government is always concerned about the needs and demands of the people. However, development can only be achieved through close cooperation between community leaders, residents and the government,” he said.

Dr. Jerip also highlighted that several new amenities, including a health clinic and sports facilities, have already been introduced in Siburan for the benefit of locals.

He emphasised that such infrastructure projects are intended to raise living standards and ensure communities can access key services with ease.

In addition, he praised the cultural programme for fostering unity among diverse groups. “Holidays like this not only preserve traditions, but also serve as a bridge of unity that unites all Chinese, Malays, Iban, Bidayuh and others,” he remarked.

Dr. Jerip observed that the event has grown in scale each year, reflecting positive social and cultural development in Siburan.

He expressed confidence that the establishment of the IAC would further reinforce community ties while strengthening government support for the town.
