PPE Donation Strengthens Civil Defence Operations in Lubok Antu

LUBOK ANTU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Lubok Antu District has received a donation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to support its operational readiness, alongside financial contributions to enhance staff welfare.

On 25 March 2026, Associate Major (PA) Albert Yew visited the Lubok Antu District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) to deliver the PPE, which will be used by frontline personnel during emergency operations.

The donation is expected to strengthen safety measures for staff engaged in disaster response and community protection.

During the visit, Albert Yew also contributed funds to the APM Members’ Recreation Club. The financial support is intended to assist in organising activities that promote camaraderie and morale among personnel.

The Lubok Antu Civil Defence Force expressed deep gratitude for the contributions, noting that such support reflects genuine concern for the wellbeing of its staff.
