Sarawak Governor Hosts Academics and Writers in Kuching

KUCHING – The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, accompanied by his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, welcomed a group of distinguished guests at Kasuma Resort, Kuching, on 16 May 2026.

Among those present were Dato’ Sr. Dr. Azimuddin bin Bahari, Vice-Chancellor of the University of North Borneo, and his wife Datuk Badriyah binti Haji Ab Malek. The gathering also included Sharifah Fariah’s daughter, alongside respected figures in academia and literature.
