Bintulu Port Hosts SEDCO and RECODA Delegations for Working Visit

BINTULU – Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) has hosted a combined delegation from the Sabah Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) and the Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) for a strategic working visit.

The engagement focused on exploring the logistical frameworks of both the Samalaju Industrial Port and Bintulu Port.

Heading the SEDCO contingent was Group General Manager Datuk Ar. James Wong Kein Peng, whilst the RECODA group was managed by Construction Management Manager Lydiawati Binti Beki.

The visiting officials were received at the port facilities by Yusmin Zuhairi bin Adnan, the Vice President for Group Port Operations at BPHB.

During the operational tour, the visitors observed the specialized handling capabilities at Samalaju Industrial Port, which acts as a primary logistical gateway for heavy industries within the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).

The discussions highlighted how advanced cargo processing and maritime efficiency directly support large-scale industrial manufacturing and regional economic corridors.
