MUKAH – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Mukah responded to an emergency call on 26 June involving an elderly man who was reported to be experiencing sudden weakness in his limbs.
The incident was reported to PKOD Mukah in the late afternoon, with members of the public alerting authorities to the situation.
Upon arrival at the residence, officers found the victim in the living room, unable to move effectively due to his condition.
APM personnel acted swiftly, transferring the man onto a scoop stretcher before placing him in an ambulance for immediate transport to Mukah Hospital.
Medical staff there are expected to provide further treatment and assessment. Officials emphasised that the rapid response was part of APM Mukah’s commitment to community safety and health support.
