The complainant contacted APM Sematan after realising the keys had been left inside the car, leaving them unable to access the vehicle.
Responders arrived promptly to provide assistance, ensuring the situation was resolved without further complications.
Officials explained that while such cases may not involve direct medical emergencies, they are categorised as special service responses.
These operations are designed to support the public in everyday challenges that require professional intervention, ranging from road obstructions to locked vehicles.
This latest case reflects the growing role of APM in handling diverse emergency and non-medical incidents across the Lundu and Sematan districts.

Community members have been reminded that emergency services are available around the clock and that swift reporting is essential for effective intervention.
Authorities emphasised that even seemingly minor issues, such as locked car keys, can cause significant disruption if not addressed quickly.
The Civil Defence Force continues to encourage residents to remain vigilant and to contact its hotline whenever assistance is required. For urgent cases, members of the public in Lundu and Sematan can reach APM at 082711292.
