SRI AMAN – Several water treatment plants in Sri Aman are currently operating at minimum levels due to reduced water levels at their inlets, a situation caused by the ongoing hot and dry weather.
The Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) in Sri Aman has been actively delivering water to affected areas to ease the impact on residents.
As of 13 August, supplies have been distributed to communities in Pantu, Engkilili, Lingga, Seduku and Stumbin.
Authorities have urged the public to conserve water and use it wisely throughout the dry season. JBALB acknowledged the inconvenience faced by residents and expressed appreciation for their patience during this period.
