KUCHING, October 14 – Sarawak is set to dazzle with the first-ever International Dragon and Lion Dance Competition, happening right in Kuching! This vibrant cultural spectacle will take place on October 26 & 27, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the iconic Stadium Perpaduan Negeri Sarawak.

The event promises a thrilling showcase of traditional skill and culture, with teams from around the globe competing for glory. Attendees can expect stunning performances, filled with energetic rhythms, colorful costumes, and jaw-dropping acrobatics.

Admission is free, making it a fantastic opportunity for families and friends to experience the rich heritage of dragon and lion dancing. Supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak, the event is organized by the Chinese Martial Art Association Kuching and sponsored by the Dragon & Lion Dance Federation of Malaysia. The Sarawak Youth and Sports Department and the Sarawak Dragon and Lion Dance Federation are also lending their support to this monumental cultural gathering.
