KUCHING – A Chinese senior citizen in Haji Baki Block A was recently provided a hospital bed loan to aid his recovery and improve his comfort at home. This meaningful initiative was organized by the Military Veterans Association (GVT) in collaboration with local community leaders.
The handover of the hospital bed was graced by YB Ir Dato Lo Khere Chiang, Batu Kitang Assemblyman, who emphasized the importance of caring for the elderly and supporting their well-being. “We are committed to ensuring that every member of our community, especially the elderly, receives the assistance they need during challenging times,” said Dato Lo.
Also present at the occasion were Penghulu Hajah Sabtuyah, KK Haji Baki Block A Haji Harzemi, and Mr. Albert Lee. Their presence showcased the united effort of community leaders in uplifting and supporting residents in need.
