ASAJAYA – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Asajaya responded to a road accident at Simpang Moyan Ledang on 24 September after receiving a request for assistance to transport an injured victim for medical treatment.
The incident occurred when the victim was reportedly struck by a car travelling in the same direction while attempting to turn into an intersection. The impact left the victim with several injuries requiring further medical attention.
According to APM Asajaya, the victim suffered a fracture to the right leg, pain around the left hip and abrasions to the left leg following the incident.
A member of the public who was concerned about the victim’s condition contacted APM Asajaya and requested assistance.
The emergency response team subsequently attended to the situation and arranged for the injured person to be transported for medical care.
The victim was later taken to the Heart Centre for further treatment. No additional information was provided on the victim’s condition following arrival at the medical facility.
The response highlights the role of district civil defence teams in assisting injured members of the public during emergencies, including providing support with transportation when medical attention is required.
Road incidents involving vehicles and other road users can require rapid assistance, particularly when injuries are reported at the scene.
