LIMBANG – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Limbang District carried out an emergency operation on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, following a road accident involving two motorcycles at Simpang Taman Damai.
The Limbang District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received the emergency call at 4.25pm. Within two minutes, the Alpha Squad led by Pbt. (PA) Abdul Azim bin Jemmy, accompanied by three members, departed from PKOD and arrived at the scene in just eight minutes.
Upon assessment, the team found an 18-year-old female victim conscious and seated at the location. She sustained pain in her left shoulder and right leg, along with minor injuries to her toe.
Immediate first aid was administered before she was transferred to Limbang Hospital at 4.45pm for further treatment. The victim was officially handed over to the hospital’s emergency unit at 5.05pm.
The operation concluded at 5.13pm when the team returned to PKOD. The mission was conducted smoothly in accordance with standard operating procedures, involving four personnel and one ambulance unit.
APM Limbang emphasised its commitment to maintaining high levels of preparedness to ensure fast, safe, and effective emergency services for the community. The unit continues to encourage the public to report emergencies promptly to enable swift response.
