BETONG – Preparations are underway for the 2026 Community Sports League (LSK) at the Betong Divisional level, with a discussion session held on 20 April 2026 at the Betong Divisional Youth and Sports Office.
The meeting was chaired by Ms Nurulzamzam binti Haji Shafi’ie, Betong Divisional Youth and Sports Officer.
The session brought together strategic partners including Mixter Netball Club, Unity Volleyball Club, and Hermanos Football Club.
Discussions focused on explaining the concept and objectives of the programme, while also addressing practical aspects such as venue selection, safety measures, and competition rules.
The Community Sports League is scheduled to take place on 13 June 2026 in Saratok. Further details regarding the specific locations for each sporting event will be announced closer to the date.
Organisers emphasised that the programme aims to strengthen collaboration between clubs and stakeholders, ensuring smooth implementation and successful outcomes.
The initiative reflects Sarawak’s commitment to promoting grassroots sports and encouraging community participation.
