KUCHING, March 22, 2025The CMAA Team made a grand impression at the Hong San Si Temple Deity Birthday Parade, securing the Runner-Up position in the highly competitive Dragon Dance category. The event, organized by the Kuching Hokkien Association, marked the 1,000-year celebration of the Hong San Si Temple and was held at Wayang Street on March 21, 2025, which coincided with the 22nd day of the second lunar month in the Chinese calendar.

A Night of Cultural Brilliance

The parade was a spectacle of traditional Chinese performances, with teams from across the region showcasing their best moves. The CMAA Team displayed exceptional skill, discipline, and teamwork, earning them the silver medal in the Dragon Dance category.

Gratitude to Supporters

The team expressed deep appreciation to their dedicated members, directors, and coaches, whose hard work and perseverance led to this outstanding achievement. Special thanks were also extended to the Dragon and Lion Dance Association and Lun Le Heshun Sports Association, who traveled from afar to provide support.

A heartfelt acknowledgment was given to the event’s key sponsors, including Lee Onn Group, Kapitan Tan Kun Gee, and the Kuching Hokkien Association, whose generous contributions played a vital role in the success of the team.

As the night ended, the CMAA Team and their supporters chanted the well-known phrases of Heng arr, Ong arr, Huat arr, symbolizing prosperity, success, and good fortune.
