Kilat Boy and Miki Crowned Champions at Twins Championship 102

NILAI – Two Sarawakian boxers made the state proud after securing impressive victories at the Twins Championship 102 held at the N9 Arena Stadium today.

Daeloniel McDelon Bong, better known as Kilat Boy, proved his strength and skill by clinching the WBC Asia Continental Super Bantamweight title. The 26-year-old fighter defeated Thailand’s Natthawat Aiemsuebnum in the fifth round, showcasing speed and experience to outsmart his younger rival.

From the start, the fight was intense, with both boxers trading hard punches. Kilat Boy launched a flurry of strong hooks and combinations, but Natthawat, only 22, displayed resilience and fought back with equal determination. Despite being pressured, Kilat Boy remained composed, using his quick footwork and tactical movements to wear down his opponent. His strategy paid off in the fifth round when he delivered decisive strikes that forced Natthawat to concede.

Meanwhile, another rising Sarawakian star, Mikail Ghazali, or Miki, stole the spotlight with a stunning upset victory against seasoned Indonesian boxer, Mikel Sleman. At only 16 years old, Miki showed extraordinary talent and courage in the flyweight category.

Although Mikel dominated the opening rounds with aggressive combinations, Miki gradually adapted to his opponent’s rhythm by the third round. He executed precise counterattacks that shifted the momentum in his favour. By the fourth round, Miki’s confidence grew as he delivered a relentless series of punches, overwhelming the 32-year-old Indonesian and forcing him to accept defeat.
