Held in conjunction with the Kuching Heritage Lights & Flora Festival, the event highlights the creativity and artistry of local landscape designers who combine flora and lighting art to showcase the city’s charm and innovation. The stunning arrangements not only beautify the city’s iconic riverfront but also serve to promote Kuching as a leading tourist destination in Sarawak.

Dato Haji Hilmy, in his remarks, said the festival reflects DBKU’s ongoing mission to strengthen Kuching’s image as a beautiful, creative, and livable city. He added that such events bring people together, foster community harmony, and attract more visitors, enhancing the local tourism industry.

In addition, there will be floral exhibitions and sales where visitors can explore and purchase unique floral arrangements and crafts.

The Floral Festival at Kuching Waterfront aims to illuminate not just the city’s nightscape but also the hearts of residents and tourists alike—celebrating Kuching’s cultural beauty through flowers, art, and light. – DBKU
