ANKARA – Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has safely arrived in Ankara, Republic of Turkey, to begin an official visit at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The Prime Minister’s arrival marks the start of a series of scheduled engagements with Turkish leaders and officials. His visit is expected to strengthen bilateral ties between Malaysia and Turkey, with discussions planned on areas of cooperation that benefit both nations.

Anwar Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the opportunity to undertake the visit, noting the importance of the meetings and exchanges that will take place during his stay. He emphasised that the visit is aimed at producing meaningful outcomes for the people and the country.
