On December 28, 2021, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., he carried out the crime in their Sematan home while the mother was gone in Kuching.

According to Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act of 2017, the accused was found guilty of one count of child sexual assault and two counts of incest under Section 376B(1) of the Penal Code.

The accused received three and four strokes of the rotan for the first and second offenses, respectively, and was sentenced to 20 and 22 years in jail. He received three strokes of the rotan and 15 years in prison for the third count.

Every sentence must follow one another.

When the girl was saved by a welfare worker, the case became public. According to the results of an investigation, the father had used his daughter’s weakness while her mother was gone.

Thirteen witnesses’ statements were among the strong evidence the prosecution, led by Deputy Public Prosecutors Ruvinasini Pandian and Nuralisa Natasha Nazrulzam, presented against the accused.
