To support the firefighting efforts, the Siburan Fire Brigade, stationed just three kilometres away, was also called in to assist. The first fire engine arrived at the scene at 7.00 am, and the team swiftly began extinguishing the flames using two streams and two nozzles in both offensive and defensive operations.

Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by 7.28 am. Overhaul procedures were then carried out to ensure that no residual flames remained, preventing any potential reignition of the fire.

The Operations Commander confirmed that the house, measuring approximately 50 x 30 square feet, was entirely destroyed in the incident. However, no individuals were found to be inside the residence at the time of the fire.

At present, the cause of the fire and the estimated losses are still under investigation by the authorities.

This incident highlights the importance of fire safety precautions and preparedness. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and ensure their homes are equipped with proper fire prevention measures, such as smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
