“I believe this exposure opens the minds of students about various educational opportunities and assistance that suit their interests. The presence of exhibitors who travelled to Belaga is very meaningful to the community. Education is a shared responsibility and is the key to a better future,” he said.
The programme featured three main components: the Sarawak Education Expo, Career Day, and the Education Awareness Programme. Students were able to engage directly with representatives from local and international institutions, participate in career guidance sessions, explore course options, and learn about sponsorship opportunities.
In conjunction with the event, the Sarawak Foundation also contributed RM73,000 in uniform assistance for 375 recipients and RM28,000 in local scholarships to 35 students. Certificates and gifts were also presented to outstanding SPM and STPM 2024 achievers.
