Woman’s Hand Trapped in Fish Ball Blender!

Woman’s Hand Trapped in Fish Ball Blender!

Ipoh – A 53-year-old Thai woman went through a terrifying moment early this morning when her left hand got trapped in a fish ball blender while she was working in Taman Pakatan, Ipoh.

According to the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), an emergency call was received at around 7:00 am reporting the incident. A rescue team was immediately dispatched to the location to assist the victim.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the woman in pain, with her hand still stuck inside the industrial blender used for preparing fish balls. Acting swiftly, the rescue team used a specialised “combination cutter” tool to carefully dismantle the machine and free her hand without causing further injury.

Ipoh Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the operation was handled with caution to ensure the woman’s safety. “Our team managed to remove the blender parts safely and free the victim’s hand after several minutes of careful work,” he said.

After being rescued, the woman was handed over to the Ministry of Health (MOH) medical team at the scene for immediate treatment. She was later taken to the hospital for further medical attention.

Authorities reminded the public to always exercise caution when handling kitchen or factory machinery, especially equipment with sharp or moving parts. Safety awareness, they said, can prevent such unfortunate incidents.

The quick response of the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Department once again highlights their dedication to public safety and emergency readiness.
