Sarawak’s Chanel Eve Lee Crowned Miss Cultural International 2025 in Kota Kinabalu

KOTA KINABALU, 9 November 2025 – Malaysia has achieved another proud milestone on the global stage as Chanel Eve Lee from Kuching, Sarawak, was crowned Miss Cultural International (MCI) 2025, triumphing over contestants from various countries and states at the prestigious grand finale held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) last night.

The event, organized by Kimora Entertainment Network Sdn. Bhd., celebrated the beauty of cultural diversity, heritage, and womanhood in an evening filled with grace and glamour. Distinguished guests, media representatives, sponsors, and an esteemed panel of judges from Malaysia and abroad attended the glittering occasion.

Chanel’s victory marked a proud moment for Malaysia, as she showcased not only poise and beauty but also deep intelligence and a sincere appreciation for cultural unity. Her exceptional performance throughout the competition earned her the admiration of both the judges and the audience.

Earlier this year, in September 2025, Chanel was crowned Miss Cultural International Sarawak 2025 and Miss Cultural International Malaysia 2025, earning her place to represent Malaysia at the global level. Her consistency and confidence throughout the competition were praised as exemplary.

In addition to her main title, Chanel also received two special awardsMiss Congeniality and Miss Cultural Confluence—honouring her charm, friendliness, and ability to bridge cultures with authenticity and respect.

The first runner-up title went to Gia Uyen from Vietnam, followed by Scarlett Maidin from the Philippines as second runner-up, Ho Ya Yun from Taiwan as third runner-up, Khosbayar Nomin-Erdene from Mongolia as fourth runner-up, and Niesya Harahap from Indonesia as fifth runner-up.

Several other special awards, including Best Talent, Miss Popular, Miss Photogenic, and Best Contemporary Traditional, were presented to recognise outstanding participants for their creativity and personality.

Founder of Kimora Entertainment Network praised all contestants, saying,
