MATU – A serious road accident occurred in Kampung Tian, Matu, on Thursday, 2 April 2026, resulting in one individual being rushed to the hospital for urgent medical care.
The Matu District Civil Defence Force (APM) was alerted to the scene following an emergency call from a member of the public.
Upon arrival, the responding team discovered a lone motorcyclist who had been involved in a crash. Preliminary assessments revealed that the victim, an adult, had sustained significant injuries, specifically head trauma and complaints of chest pain.
The APM Matu personnel immediately stabilised the victim at the scene by providing first aid before ensuring safe transport to Daro Hospital for comprehensive medical checkup and further treatment.
The efficient coordination between the public and the District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) ensured that the victim reached the medical facility promptly.
