KUCHING – The 2026 Enforcement Synergy Camp Programme was officially launched on 21 April at Borneo Happy Farm, Kuching, by YBhg. Dato Ahmad Nadzri bin Mohd Hassan, Sarawak Federal Secretary (SUPS).
The event was jointly organised by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
The programme has been described as a significant initiative in strengthening the public service and enhancing the enforcement of national laws.
It serves as a strategic platform to instil values of integrity, accountability, and professionalism among participants, while also encouraging collaboration between agencies.
The opening ceremony included a symbolic signing of the inaugural plaque and the presentation of souvenirs. Guests also joined a guided tour of Borneo Happy Farm, which formed part of the day’s activities.
Several senior officials attended the event, reflecting the importance of the programme. Among them were YBhg. Dato Hasbillah bin Mohamad Salleh, Director of Sarawak MACC; Mr Mohd Dali bin Jasmin, Head of the Integrity and Governance Department, EPF; Mr Aminuddin bin Abdul Aziz, EPF Sarawak Regional Director; Mrs Irma binti Jalil, Deputy EPF Sarawak Regional Director; and Mr Mohamad bin Che Rus, Head of EPF Kuching and Co-Convening Chairman with MACC for the 2026 camp.
The Enforcement Synergy Camp is designed to encourage participants to adopt a mindset aligned with integrity and good governance.
By fostering cooperation between enforcement agencies and public institutions, the programme aims to strengthen the effectiveness of law enforcement and improve service delivery to the public.
Officials highlighted that initiatives such as this are vital in shaping work culture within the public sector. With increasing demands for transparency and accountability, the camp provides a platform for officers to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and build networks that support ethical practices.
The collaboration between EPF and MACC demonstrates a shared commitment to combating corruption and promoting integrity across government agencies.
By combining resources and expertise, both organisations seek to ensure that enforcement practices remain robust and credible.
