Upon arrival, APM members assessed the situation and prepared the necessary equipment to ensure the operation could be carried out safely.

The team employed insecticide spraying, specifically Ridsect, combined with controlled burning to neutralise the nest. The procedure was completed without incident, and the area was declared secure.

Officials confirmed that no injuries or unwanted events occurred during the operation. The swift response prevented possible harm, as wasp stings can pose serious risks, particularly to individuals with allergies.

The destruction of the nest also reduced the likelihood of further infestations in the area. APM Mukah emphasised the importance of community cooperation in reporting such hazards.
