SEMATAN – Civil Defence personnel were called into action on Tuesday after a snake was spotted beneath the staff quarters of the Sematan Health Clinic.
The Sematan District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) confirmed receiving a report from the public regarding the presence of a reptile identified as a spiker snake.
The complainant subsequently contacted the Civil Defence Force (APM) in Sematan for immediate assistance.
Responders arrived at the scene and carried out the necessary procedures to safely capture the snake, ensuring that no harm came to residents or staff in the area. The incident was resolved without injury, and the reptile was removed from the premises.
