MUKAH – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Mukah responded to a public emergency call on 26 June after a car door locked itself with the keys left inside.
The incident, categorised as a KK (Special Service) case, was reported by a member of the public who sought immediate assistance.
APM personnel were dispatched to the scene and quickly assessed the situation. Using specialised equipment, the team successfully unlocked the vehicle without causing damage.
Authorities confirmed that the operation was completed safely, with no injuries or further complications. The swift intervention ensured that the situation was resolved efficiently, preventing unnecessary distress for the vehicle owner.
APM Mukah highlighted that such cases, though not uncommon, require trained personnel and proper tools to avoid harm or damage.
