One Year On, Abang Johari Remembers His Beloved Wife

KUCHING, June 26, 2026 – Time may continue to move forward, but the loss of a loved one often remains deeply felt. For Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Abang Openg, the memory of his beloved wife, the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Haji Bujang, continues to hold a special place in his heart, one year after her passing.

The late Puan Sri Juma’ani passed away on June 23, 2025. June 23 this year marked the first anniversary of her passing, bringing back many cherished memories of the woman who stood beside the Premier throughout his personal life and public service.

Behind Abang Johari’s leadership and dedication to the development of Sarawak was a devoted wife who provided constant encouragement and unwavering support.
