SIBU – The Sibu Divisional Youth and Sports Office (PBSB Sibu) has begun preparations for the upcoming National Youth Conference (MPBN) 2026 at the divisional level, following a courtesy visit to the Sibu Divisional Resident Office on 22 June.
The meeting was held to discuss the framework, planning, and coordination for the programme, which is scheduled to take place on 2 July 2026.
The conference aims to empower youth voices and strengthen leadership among young people in the district.
The PBSB Sibu delegation was led by Mr Mohd Nadzrul Idzlan Bin Mohd Nor, Officer of the Young Friend Development Unit, accompanied by Mr Terence Tan.
Their presence was warmly received by Tuan Superi Bin Awang Said, Resident of Sibu Division, who expressed support for the initiative.
Discussions during the session focused on programme content, logistics, and strategies to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Organisers highlighted the importance of collaboration between PBSB Sibu, the Resident Office, and local communities to deliver a meaningful and impactful conference.
