PM Anwar Ibrahim Attends Official Dinner Hosted by President Erdoğan

ANKARA – Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, accompanied by his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and the Malaysian delegation, attended an official dinner hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan at the Presidential Complex in Ankara.

The dinner was held in a warm and dignified atmosphere, reflecting the depth of friendship and mutual respect between Malaysia and Turkey.

Both sides highlighted the importance of hospitality and sincerity in strengthening ties that have been nurtured over many years.

Anwar Ibrahim expressed his deepest appreciation to President Erdoğan, Emine Erdoğan, and their family for the extraordinary welcome extended to the Malaysian delegation.

He described the occasion as a symbol of brotherhood and genuine friendship between the two nations.

The Prime Minister also conveyed his prayers for the continued health, strength, and wisdom of President Erdoğan and his family, wishing them success in leading Turkey towards peace, prosperity, and justice.

He noted that Turkey’s leadership plays an important role not only for its people but also for the wider Islamic world.

The official dinner further reinforced the closeness of Malaysia-Turkey relations, which have been strengthened through recent high-level meetings, strategic cooperation agreements, and shared aspirations for regional stability and global peace.
