BAU – The Bau District Police Headquarters hosted a spiritual programme on 16 April 2026, bringing together officers, staff, and family members for an evening of prayer and reflection.
The event took place at Surau Al-Muqarrabin, beginning with the congregational Maghrib prayer. Participants then performed the Sunat Hajat prayer, followed by the recitation of Surah Yasin and Tahlil, led by Ustaz Abdul Latif bin Shahril from the Integrity and Standards Compliance Division.
The programme concluded with the Isyak prayer and the recitation of Surah Al-Mulk, marking a solemn end to the gathering.
Bau District Police Chief, P/Supt Mohd Haide bin A. Rahman, attended alongside senior and junior police officers, civil staff, and their families.
The presence of multiple levels of personnel highlighted the collective spirit of the police force and its commitment to strengthening bonds within the organisation.
Organisers explained that the programme was part of ongoing efforts to reinforce spiritual values among members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
Such gatherings are intended to seek blessings, well-being, and protection for both the police force and the wider Bau community. They also serve as a reminder of the responsibilities entrusted to officers in safeguarding public safety.
