KUCHING – The Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) received a much-needed boost today as Batu Lintang assemblyman YB See Chee How personally handed over seven sets of computer monitors and CPUs, complete with accessories, along with two printers to the hospital’s Pharmacy Department.
This contribution, made in response to a direct request from the department, aims to replace outdated and malfunctioning equipment that has been hampering daily operations. The new devices are expected to support the department’s workflow and enhance the overall quality of patient care delivery.
“This is a small gesture to help the hardworking medical staff who continue to serve the public with dedication,” said YB See. “These computers and printers are not just machines — they are tools that can help reduce their burden and improve efficiency in their daily tasks.”
The donation underscores the importance of supporting frontliners, especially those who work behind the scenes to ensure smooth hospital operations, such as pharmacists and administrative staff.
YB See also took the opportunity to express his appreciation to the medical personnel at SGH. “To all the dedicated staff who serve tirelessly every day — thank you. We may not always see the work you do, but we know how important it is,” he added.
The visit was warmly received by hospital representatives, who expressed gratitude for the timely assistance. According to them, the Pharmacy Department has been struggling with limited functioning equipment, and the new devices will significantly improve their service delivery, particularly in handling patient prescriptions and medical records.
