APM Removes Hazardous Wasp Nest at Debak School

DEBAK – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) successfully removed a wasp nest at a secondary school in Debak on 15 June 2026, following concerns about the safety of students and staff.

The incident was reported to the APM Debak team after school authorities discovered the nest within the compound.

Given the potential danger posed by venomous insects, four APM members were immediately dispatched to the site. Upon arrival, the team conducted a thorough inspection to identify the exact location of the nest.

Using specialised equipment and adhering to strict safety procedures, the officers carried out a destruction operation to eliminate the threat. The task was completed without incident, and the nest was safely removed and destroyed.
