Penang Retiree Wins RM21.3 Million Toto 4D Jackpot with Family Numbers

Penang Retiree Wins RM21.3 Million Toto 4D Jackpot with Family Numbers

KUCHING (Dec 18): A retired renovation contractor from Penang has hit the RM21.3 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on December 8. His winning combination? The car registration numbers of his family members.

The 64-year-old winner shared that he had been consistently betting on the pair of car registration numbers – 5841 & 1562 – for many years, never missing a draw. When he saw the same numbers emerge as the second and third prizes, he immediately knew he had won big.

“I feel relieved that the numbers I have been betting on for years have finally paid off,” said the lucky winner. “I was speechless and overjoyed when I checked my ticket against the results.”

With his newfound fortune, the winner plans to ensure a comfortable retirement. He intends to place the RM21,314,124 winnings in a fixed deposit account to generate a steady income for the future.

The RM21.5 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1 was shared between the Penang winner and another lucky winner from Selangor, who took home RM203,962.75.

This win comes after another major Toto 4D win in November, when a RM6.15 million portion of the RM20.1 million jackpot was shared among four i-System ticket winners from Sabah, Sarawak, and Penang. One of those winners, a 39-year-old driver from Penang, claimed RM4,473,774.75. He, too, attributed his win to the car registration numbers, 9666 & 1018, saying, “My car has rewarded me for my hard work. I am excited to use the winnings to start my own business.”

It seems that car registration numbers have become a lucky charm for some Malaysian players, as these two stories of unexpected fortune unfold.
