SELANGAU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Selangau successfully destroyed a wasp nest discovered near SK St. Mark, Nanga Tamin, on Tuesday, 16 June 2026.
The Selangau District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) confirmed that it received an emergency call from the public reporting the presence of the nest.
The insects had built their colony on a tree close to the school store, raising concerns about the safety of pupils and staff.
