APM Responds to Emergency Illness Case in Lundu

LUNDU – The Civil Defence Force (APM) Lundu responded swiftly to an emergency illness case on 12 July 2026 after receiving a call from the public reporting an adult male experiencing severe back pain and weakness in his limbs.

The incident was categorised as an Illness Case (Kes Sakit – SKT) and was reported to the Lundu District Operations Control Centre (PKOD). The complainant contacted APM Lundu for ambulance assistance, prompting officers to be dispatched immediately to the location.

Upon arrival, APM personnel provided initial treatment to stabilise the victim. Their prompt intervention ensured that the patient received immediate care before being transported to Lundu Hospital for further medical attention. The operation demonstrated the unit’s readiness and efficiency in handling health-related emergencies.

APM Lundu emphasised its guiding principle of “Ready, Fast & Integrity,” underscoring its commitment to serving the community with professionalism and reliability. Officials highlighted that such cases reflect the importance of rapid response in safeguarding lives and ensuring that patients receive timely medical support.

The Civil Defence Force reminded residents that emergency services are available for a wide range of situations, including medical emergencies, accidents, and special service cases.
